My Dear Teachers & Students,
I am glad that M and M College of Education, Nagri, Distt-Sangrur is spreading quality education, creating excellent teachers for development of India’s youth. Life is a long journey of struggle, progress and achievements- but, what we achieve is only a drop in the ocean. A person cannot achieve success in a moment. It takes time coupled with determination, hard work and continuous efforts to achieve success.

It is the mission of our college to provide an environment for creativity and research to enable the students to develop inner-discipline, human values, positive self-image to create a unique teacher personality. We assure to provide our students the best possible facilities for their all-round development, who in turn would pass on the values to their young students-where ever they teach & develop youth fora strong India. I wish every student of M and M College of Education to hold the torch of love, freedom, success and integrity, not only in India but all over the world

Mata Ji

Smt Malti Mohinder Singh Syngle (Mata Ji)

Most dedicated crusader of educating the girl child, well known social worker, Smt Malti Mohinder Singh Syngle (Mata Ji). an icon of women empowerment from an era, when women in a conservative family environment, were not even allowed out of doors, leave alone getting educated.

She was one of the first women in Punjab to achieve Degree of “Bachelor of Teaching” in the year 1951. Prior to that she did her Post Graduation in 1948.

Malti Ji, tirelessly worked for over four decades, educating the girl child, especially in the State of Punjab. She retired from active Govt. service in the year 1980. Even after retirement, she, continuetther efforts unabated for spread of education, especially for under privileged students in the rural sector.
